Our objective is simple: To promote, organize, supervise and stimulate interest and participation of summer basketball for boys and girls in an outdoor environment. Good sportsmanship and enjoyment of the game is our priority.
Notre but est simple: Promouvoir, organiser, superviser et stimuler l’intérêt et la participation des garçons et filles au jeu d’extérieur de basket-ball d’été. Un bon esprit de fair-play ainsi que beaucoup de plaisir durant les parties sont notre priorité.
Important Notice.
Pandemic Influenza (Swine Flu)
Please ask all players to wash their hand after each game.
Coaches are to direct their players to the wash rooms and have them wash their hands before leaving the courts.

ALL COACHES MUST SIGN THE SCORE SHEET BEFORE LEAVING THE COURT
The WIOBL shift sheet must be used at all WIOBL games. If any coach or captain refusing to use them and in accordance with the rules he will forfeit their game The score for the forfeit team will be 0.
Shift are design in a manner so that you the coach or captain can make his line ups as equal in strength as possible. Once your shift is made up you must follow it through the game. The only exception is if a player is hurt and can not play or leaves the game early. This should be noted on the score sheet in which shift it has happened.
Coaches Registration
Requirements:
You will have to fill out two registration forms one for the league (WIOBL) and one for Basketball Quebec along with the signing of the Code of Conduct.
Two pieces of ID for police check if you have not had on in the last three years. ID card or all contact information from another organization if you have had one.
Bring if you have a level certification number from the National Coaching Certification Program. Example; This number reads NCC xxxxxxxx.

When Summer Holidays start there will players taking their vacations.
If you are short players you should contact your convener and request number of call ups from the level below to avoided defaulting your game.
This should be done 3 days before your game so arrangements can be made with the the other convener. All players called up for your team will play as if they were a player on your team.
t the evaluation you will be asked to fill out an evaluation sheet of the players on your level. Please fill it out and return it to your conveners after the evaluation. Return all clip boards and pens to the evaluation table
The coach of each team is to ask one of the parents to bring each week to bring a small cooler of ice in case it's needed
